Japanese Kit Kats

Since 2000 there have been over 300 limited-edition seasonal and region-exclusive Kit Kat flavors produced in Japan. It is no wonder why Kit Kats are one of the top-selling treats in Japan. The Japanese gift-giving culture has encouraged the development of region exclusive favors where tourists can buy them and bring them home as souvenirs for friends and families.

Limited-edition seasonal flavors are also popular as they are produced in small batches and customers are eager to purchase them because of their perceived “rarity.” Personally, I have bought many different flavors. Some taste meh, but I did enjoy the pancake and matcha flavors.
